Department of Astanga Samgraha (Basic Principle of Ayurveda)
THE COURSE OFFERED:
The department offers Basic principles of Ayurvedic medicine course during the first years of D.A.M.S course.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Basic principles of Ayurvedic medicine is a philosophy based medical science. This department imparts the knowledge of Basic Principles of Ayurvedic classics and history of Ayurveda along with Sharira Rachana and Sharir Kriya. This department carries out research related to Ayurvedic fundamental principles like Panchamahabhuta & Tridosha and also conducts clinical trials to assess the role of various basic principles in the management of diseases. A well-equipped laboratory is also established to work on the fundamental principles of Ayurveda
COURSE OBJECTIVE:At the end of the course of anatomy, the students shall be able to:
1. To increase knowledge about natural stricture of human body and deferent conditions of the body.
2. To diagnosis the natural condition of the body.
3. Help to keep the body sound healthy.
