Department of Shalya Tantra (Surgery)

This department imparts training and teaching in the classical surgical procedures. This faculty provides clinical consultation, surgical and para surgical services to patients attending IPD and OPD sections of the hospital.Various herbs and herbomineral compound in wound healing, Benign Prostates Hypertrophy, Urolithiasis and the role of bloodletting in various diseases is also being practiced and studied in the department.
